Homeland Museum Collection – DIMITROVGRAD
Female and male folk costumes from this region are especially interesting, such as litak, sukno, zubun, aprons, shirts and beletina. These costumes are richly embroidered or decorated with tinsels and braids. These pieces of costumes date from the end of 19 th and the beginning of 20 th century.

Sukno (the beginning of the 20th century )The jewellery collection from 15 th to 19 th century is also very rich and consists of different examples of rings, earrings, bracelets, metal buckles and brooches.

There are several icons in the collection, the most outstanding being the icons of Jesus Christ and St. Michael from the 18 th century done with great skill in portraying the characters and durability of colour.
