THE SPORTS CENTRE PARK

 

      The Sports Centre Park is situated 200m from the centre of the town. It is a sports complex which consists of a football field with grass surface of high quality, and stands for 500 spectators, as well as of open terrains for basketball and field ball (which is used for five – a – side football as well) made of asphalt, and the sports hall. In the second half of July, a traditional five – a – side football tournament is held, which can gather about 2000 people.

     The Sports Hall, whose surface amounts to over 7,000 square meters, has many purposes. There is a terrain for mini sports with stands which can gather 1,600 spectators; there is a rifle range for both air rifles and small-caliber rifles; there is also a gym and business offices.

     The Sports Centre is suitable for trainings of football, American football, basketball, field ball, volleyball players, archers, and other sportsmen.

A restaurant of the same name is part of the Sports Centre, and near it, there is a hotel ‘Balkan' which has over 100 seats. Near the town, there are the terrains Manastirce and Grbine Kosare) which are suitable for the construction of footing paths.
